GREEN WITH ENVY.

We had the privilege of designing a kitchen for a young couple who assured me they weren’t afraid of color—so we went for it. A happy grass green splashes its way all over the kitchen on a textural ribbed cabinet profile that was designed custom. One of the clients also expressed that in her childhood home there were a lot of sculptural forms, so those elements were meaningful to her in making her house feel like a home. Sculptural curves were incorporated throughout, like the ends of the island, a round window, and the playful wiggly floating shelf and cabinet toekicks. And to maximize memory making, the kitchen boasts a communal dual-sided island so that diners can face each other at a meal, while still retaining plenty of island storage on either enclosed end.
